This week I dove into product photography. I started with the prompt of a piece of jewelry and then added other products. Product photography is a challenge in that you have to highlight the product with little distraction while making the scene visually appealing so people will want to buy. The images have to be perfectly crisp and sharp. No fancy filters this week! A tripod is a must. Studio lighting is a must. I experimented with off camera flash, soft box lighting and props.

The first set of photos is a necklace my mother in law gave me. Then I got creative with products I already had around the house.
